Book Review Introducing .NET 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010

Recently i was in a search for Silvelight 3.0 books in Hyderabad. So i went to KOTI, looking for the book.  I didn’t find a single store having Silverlight 3 books.  Why is that i don’t know. Silverlight 4.0 is near and i couldn’t find a silverlight 3.0 book in any bookshop. They are still selling of Silverlight 2.0 books.

But i am glad that i made visit searching for the Silvelight 4.0 book. Interestingly i found another book, which i never thought would be in KOTI.

The book is “Apress Publication Series – Introducing .NET 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010 by Alex Mackey, Microsoft MVP”, which is a quite interesting book beginning to know “what is new with .NET 4.0 and Visual studio 2010″. Of course this books is mainly based on Visual Studio 2010 beta version. I believe it is mostly accurate to work with Visual Studio 2010 Release Candidate version.

If you want to know ” What is new with .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010″, this is the best book, you ever should read first.  Alex Mackey provided lots of information on the new features,  tools, shortcuts and  more interesting informative links to all resources we need to get to know Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 better.

The book is priced on Retail price of Rs. 329/- in INDIA, but in koti i got it for around 250-260. Which is a quite a good buy, considering the importance and availability of book.
